Science Sisters
Led by a variety of local female scientists, Science Sisters is a great way to learn more about different science topics!
Girls meet monthly in an after school club designed to strengthen their competency in science by providing a fun and safe avenue for exploration and discovery. Members will learn about different science topics in a hands on, experiential way. Open to girls in grades 3-5, Science Sisters meets the fourth Thursday of each month (except November and December; see dates below) from 4:00 - 4:45 pm, beginning in September and continuing throughout the school year to May. Call the Museum at 828/254-7162 for more information or to register.
Cost: $50 for non-member child; $35 for member child.
