Kids love the Colburn, as you probably know. Every day we at the Museum are privileged to watch as kids delight in discovering many of the wonders of earth science. They may not even know they're learning something: they're having too much fun. We know, however, and you do as well, when your budding scientist explains how geodes are formed, why plate tectonics make mountains grow and how to measure the speed of the wind.

Joining the Colburn Earth Science Museum as a Family Member carries many benefits for your entire family. You will have free admission for an entire year, which means you can stop in at any time: maybe just to push the dynamite lever in the mine or perhaps on a Wednesday afternoon to stump the geologist with a recently discovered rock.
